The Competition Commission (the Commission) announced on 18 October 2018 it has referred the findings of its investigation into a complaint over refundable deposit fees for LPG cylinders to the Competition Tribunal of South Africa for adjudication.
Afrox has co-operated fully during the Commission’s investigation and remains committed to doing so. The Commission has confirmed no administrative penalty is sought against Afrox. Afrox awaits the findings of the Competition Tribunal and will then determine if any further statements by our Company are necessary.
