The Linde Company Shared Services (LGS) has been setup to leverage world-class shared services across The Linde Company and will perform certain transactional rules based activities on behalf of Procurement, Finance & Controlling and our Customer Service Centre. LGS's mission is to deliver standardised and effective business processes while ensuring a consistently positive customer experience at optimised cost levels.
As such, the move to LGS, which has already been successfully achieved by a number of Linde regions including the UK, focuses on the following areas:
- Finance: Invoice processing, travel and expenses, and elements of transactional accounting;
- Procurement: Vendor master data management; and
- NCSC: E-mail and fax orders, non-complex cash allocations and credit limit reviews for existing customers
